Specialists from Grafixoft Ltd. successfully passed the 3-day training course "Introduction to Capability Maturity Model® Integration Version 1.2 Staged and Continuous Representation". The course was organized by ESI Center Bulgaria and took place in Sofia on 18-20th of December 2006. Our colleagues obtained certificates registered in the database of Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.

The OEM Hardware Solutions Competency (OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer) is for partners that deliver quality hardware solutions configured according to customer needs and then supported to ensure customer satisfaction.

On 30 November 2006 the team of Grafixoft Ltd. received a one-day "Awareness" training related to introducing the CMMI methodology for continuous processes improvement in the company. The training was organized and carried out by ESI Center Bulgaria . The training is a part of Grafixoft's ITMark certification. The CMMI certification project is supported by USAID RCI and by VEGA BTD.

On 10-12 November 2006 the staff of Grafixoft LTD gathered to hold an annual retreat near at Gabrovo town, Uzana upland. Modern methodologies and best practices for software projects management have been presented. The achievements and the trends of the current projects have been reported. Strategic and executive steps have been defined for better organization level in the company and more effective communication between the teams.

Thanks to the sunny weather we enjoyed the nice countryside around. We are grateful to our hosts (uzana.net) for the pleasant atmosphere.
